When I first started teaching piano, I never imagined where this journey would take me. What began as a small, local studio, helping kids discover the joy of music, quickly turned into something much bigger.

I never expected to be teaching students from across the globe, all brought together by a shared love for learning. What changed? The world did. And in that shift, I realized that piano could connect us all, no matter where we were.

Since 2019, Music Is For Me has been recognized as an award-winning studio, honored with the Business Hall of Fame induction and named Best Music Instructor in Summerville and North Charleston for over six consecutive years.

But what truly matters to me is not the accolades—it’s seeing my students grow. Whether it’s a first-time student learning to play their favorite song or a seasoned performer mastering a difficult piece, the real joy comes from watching them unlock their potential.
